1. Why would I stage my house when the real estate market is hot?
A property that shows well tells a buyer that it is maintained, updated and move in ready. The last thing many home buyers want is to have to start renovations as soon as they move in. My job is to make the recommendations before your house goes on the market so the first impression is key to selling your home quickly. Statistics show that buyers will pay more money for a home that is move in ready.
2. How much does it cost?
Like anything else budget dictates what one can spend. At times there may be no budget for this, that doesn't mean your property can't be staged. That is where my expertise comes in. In most cases the cost of staging will be less than your first price reduction. I will work with you and your Realtor to show your home to it's fullest potential regardless of your budget.
3. What makes you stand out from other Home Stagers
I have spent the time to be trained as a Certified Staging Professional (CSP). We operate under a Code of Conduct, must be insured and required to maintain constant upgrading of what is going on in the market to keep our designation. I am proud to be a part of this Organization.
4. What do you think my home would be worth if I have you stage it?
I am not in the business of assessing your home's worth. That is the job of a Real Estate Professional and it is between you and them. I can confidently tell you that if you stage right your home will sell faster and for more profitable results.
5. Staging vs decorating
Clients mention to me that everyone commends them on their interior decorating, why do they need to stage? I can only say that decorating and staging are NOT the same. Decorating is directed towards a client's specific needs and tastes, when a property is so personalized potential buyers can not see themselves living in that space. Staging is getting your property prepared for market and present in a buyers eye.
